The Spanish Federation of Municipalities and Provinces (FEMP)<\/a> and the Youth Institute of Spain (Injuve)<\/a> have agreed to grant 30 aid packages – totalling 180,000 euros – to projects designed by Spanish local authorities to promote employment and youth entrepreneurship.<\/p>\n

More specifically, funding was awarded to actions dedicated to vocational and professional guidance for young people seeking employment, advice on launching entrepreneurial ideas and business projects, as well as more global initiatives covering education, training and skills for the professional development and entrepreneurship of young people. The projects selected will be implemented in towns in many Spanish provinces.<\/p>\n

“Subsidies range from 2,500 to 16,000 euros depending on the number of inhabitants in each town”, as reported by FEMP. The list of projects broken down by selected municipalities is available at the federation’s web site.<\/p>\n

National Competition for Young Entrepreneurs<\/strong><\/p>\n

On the other hand, Injuve’s has called for the National Competition of Young Entrepreneurs 2014 to support young people under 35 who wish to embark on innovative projects, in already established companies, that have been operating between one and three years, regardless of the sector in which they work. A top ten selected will be granted financial assistance amounting to 25,000 euros.<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
