But sometimes, there are simple gestures we can all make. Even more so when there is a Global Agenda, such as the Sustainable Development Goals.<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"A Look at the Sustainable Development Goals\" width=\"1140\" height=\"641\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/5G0ndS3uRdo?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>Allow us to explain how everyone can contribute to these United Nations\u2019 goals.<\/p>\n<p>From your couch:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Unplug appliances when you are not using them. Even the computer.<\/li>\n<li>Your opinion counts. Ask your political representatives to participate in initiatives that do not harm people or the planet.<\/li>\n<li>Do some research when you choose a product; choose products from environmentally committed companies.<\/li>\n<li>Offset your carbon emissions! You can now calculate your carbon footprint and buy climate credit at <a href=\"http:\/\/climateneutralnow.org\/SitePages\/How.aspx\">Climate Neutral Now<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>From home:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Short showers. 5 to 10 minutes long.<\/li>\n<li>Replace old appliances with more efficient models. Change the bulbs in the house.<\/li>\n<li>Recycle to stop landfills from expanding forever.<\/li>\n<li>Hang your clothes out to dry.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Outside the house:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Buy local products.<\/li>\n<li>Avoid impulse purchases: plan ahead!<\/li>\n<li>Travel by bicycle, walk or use public transport.<\/li>\n<li>Use your own bags when you go to the supermarket.<\/li>\n<li>Purchase second-hand products.
