Consequently, <strong>36.7%<\/strong> of workers with higher studies would like to change jobs after their summer holidays. Of these, <strong>13.3%<\/strong> state they are already looking for a new job.<\/p>\n<p>On the other hand, as the level of qualifications decreases, so does the number of workers who want to change jobs. One in five workers (<strong>20.4%<\/strong>) with secondary or lower qualifications say they want to change jobs, while the percentage increases to <strong>27.1%<\/strong> among professionals who only have their A-levels.<\/p>\n<p>By age group, <strong>people over 45<\/strong> are more inclined to change jobs after returning from holidays. Indeed, <strong>20.2%<\/strong> of them are considering the possibility. This group is followed by the 25 to 45 age group, in which <strong>27.2%<\/strong> are considering looking for new jobs. On the contrary, people under 25 years of age are less inclined to change jobs after the holidays.<\/p>\n<p>The survey also found that <strong>45%<\/strong> of workers would be prepared <strong>to move to a new city<\/strong> to find a new job. In this case, young people display a greater inclination to move (<strong>58.1%<\/strong>). The main reasons that would lead to moving to a new city are <strong>a better salary<\/strong>, according to <strong>58.6%<\/strong> of the people interviewed, <strong>better work-life balance<\/strong> (<strong>47.1%<\/strong>), <strong>better opportunities for promotion<\/strong> (<strong>41.8%<\/strong>), <strong>greater job security<\/strong> (<strong>37.8%<\/strong>) and improved <strong>flexibility<\/strong> regarding working hours (<strong>21.5%<\/strong>).<\/p>\n<p>However, workers are \u201cmore reluctant\u201d to change jobs when this requires <strong>crossing borders<\/strong> and working in another country. One in every three workers (<strong>30.6%<\/strong>) acknowledges they would move abroad to find another job when they return from their holidays. People <strong>under 25 years<\/strong> of age are, once again, the group that is most \u201cinclined\u201d to make this change. In fact, <strong>45.4%<\/strong> state they would move to another country to find a better job if that improved their current conditions. In this\u00a0 case, the <strong>salary<\/strong> would be even more decisive for <strong>70.4%<\/strong> of workers.
