Fluency in English will be an essential condition for job applicants<\/h3>\n

After the crisis, tourism has been one of the sectors driving the economy in Spain. This year, according to forecasts made by the human resources group, Randstad<\/strong><\/a>, the tourism sector, together with automation, food, and logistics will be driving employment<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Tourism-related activities<\/strong>, such as hotels and restaurants will continue to generate job opportunities<\/strong>. The job profiles needed include waiters, room attendants, cooks as well as leisure and entertainment experts. An important aspect of the study is the increase in international tourism. Consequently, people looking for jobs in restaurants and retail will be required to master languages<\/strong>, English being the most sought after<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Exports will also boost employment thanks to jobs in the food sector<\/strong>. Regions like Castilla-La Mancha, Castilla y Le\u00f3n, Cantabria, Extremadura, Galicia, La Rioja, and Murcia will attract most new employees. However, due to the slowdown in domestic consumption, businesses are turning to the export market and, therefore, the jobs needed will be in foreign trade, administration, management, advertising and marketing.<\/p>\n

Logistics<\/h4>\n

E-commerce<\/strong> will continue to grow and one sector that will contribute to this growth is logistics<\/strong>, which will need packagers, fork-lift drivers, warehouse workers, and carriers. However, these jobs will be required for targeted campaigns<\/strong>, such as Easter<\/strong>, summer<\/strong> or sales.
