The Basque Employment Service-Lanbide has developed an employment observatory to forecast the future of employment<\/h4>\n

What studies will be the most sought after? What professional profiles will be needed in the future? Based on these questions, the Basque Employment Service-Lanbide has presented a tool called Futurelan<\/a> which makes it possible to review the evolution of employment and answer any questions regarding what studies people should take based on the needs of the job market.<\/p>\n

Through quick searches on this website<\/a>, you can view employment trends in all economic sectors and occupational groups<\/strong>, as well as make comparisons between the two. This tool is essential to obtain timely information on the type of workers Basque companies need<\/strong>, in addition to any possible economic distortions.<\/p>\n

The information that can be found includes quantitative data on estimates of the demand for jobs divided by sectors and professions<\/strong>, and qualitative data on trends and changes regarding skills. The data entered cover from 2005 to 2015, based on the Labour Market Census, and from 2016 to 2030 based on the expected evolution. The figures shown include the distribution of employment based on jobs in a given sector, the number of contracts, the sectors that will be affected and job opportunities<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

The employment opportunities will be created based on the prospects for economic development and the need to replace current workers in the Basque labour market who will be retiring. What will be the total job opportunities considering both of these factors?
