El trabajo es clave en materia de reducci\u00f3n de la pobreza y el logro de la igualdad, la inclusi\u00f3n y el desarrollo sostenible en la naci\u00f3n. Sin embargo, seg\u00fan el tabloide brit\u00e1nico &#8216;The Guardian&#8217;, la situaci\u00f3n del empleo juvenil en Tanzania contin\u00faa siendo un desaf\u00edo para su devenir.<strong> El paro juvenil entre los j\u00f3venes -entre 15 y 34 a\u00f1os- es del 13,4%<\/strong>; las mujeres ostentan un 14,3% mientras que en el caso de los varones la cifra se sit\u00faa en el 12,3%. Este fen\u00f3meno golpea especialmente a las \u00e1reas urbanas, donde alcanza un 22,3%, en contraposici\u00f3n con el mundo rural, donde es s\u00f3lo de un 7,1%.<\/p>\n<p>Est\u00e1 caracterizado por rasgos como una descompensaci\u00f3n entre oferta y demanda del mercado laboral y un crecimiento de la presi\u00f3n por el empleo urbano con la consiguiente p\u00e9rdida de excedente de la mano de obra en sectores no agr\u00edcolas. Se ha puesto en valor la importancia de la creaci\u00f3n de empleo en el pa\u00eds tras la publicaci\u00f3n de un informe del Banco Mundial titulado<strong> &#8216;Tanzania: Se buscan empleos productivos&#8217;<\/strong>. El <strong>presidente Jakaya Kikwete<\/strong> asegur\u00f3 que garantizar un empleo decente y bien pagado es la inspiraci\u00f3n y el deseo de todo tanzano, tanto joven como adulto.<\/p>\n<p>\u00abSe estima que <strong>cada a\u00f1o m\u00e1s de 800.000 j\u00f3venes se incorporan al mercado laboral<\/strong>. Esto incluye a profesionales y licenciados que emigraron de las zonas agrarias hacia las \u00e1reas urbanas\u00bb, apunt\u00f3 el presidente Kikwete. Seg\u00fan el m\u00e1ximo mandatario tanzano, la previsi\u00f3n para 2030 es que la fuerza de trabajo se doblar\u00e1, llegando a los 50 millones. Por lo tanto, este hecho pone de manifiesto la importancia de crear un entorno propicio para el florecimiento de los negocios, de manera que se creen m\u00e1s puestos de trabajo para las personas a trav\u00e9s del tiempo. Seg\u00fan el gerente de Comunicaci\u00f3n de la OIT en Tanzania, <strong>Magnus Minja<\/strong>, \u00ablos CRs fueron los que movilizaron a sus comisionados y otros actores clave en sus respectivas regiones para garantizar que el empleo juvenil se toma seriamente en consideraci\u00f3n en su agenda\u00bb.<\/p>\n<h4>\u00bfPor qu\u00e9 un hay un paro juvenil elevado?<\/h4>\n<p>La mayor\u00eda de los j\u00f3venes no tiene las competencias necesarias, las que demanda el mercado laboral no son compatibles con las que se ofertan a la juventud. Como resultado tenemos una incompatibilidad de habilidades. La competitividad del mercado laboral: ha aumentado el uso de la tecnolog\u00eda avanzada y las TICs reemplazan el trabajo por habilidades m\u00e1s espec\u00edficas. Otro factor es la escasez de apoyo a los nuevos negocios y al emprendimiento. <strong>Fomentar el trabajo decente y productivo para la juventud es una prioridad nacional<\/strong>.
