El Director General tambi\u00e9n hizo referencia l desafio que supone la falta de empleo entre los j\u00f3venes, \u201cla crisis del empleo juvenil constituye un enorme d\u00e9ficit de trabajo decente para las sociedades en todo el mundo y uno de los principales desaf\u00edos de nuestro tiempo\u201d, zanj\u00f3 Ryder.<\/p>\n<p>Bajo la coordinaci\u00f3n de la OIT, la Iniciativa fue desarrollada por 19 entidades de las Naciones Unidas que est\u00e1n comprometidas a incrementar el impacto de las pol\u00edticas de empleo juvenil y ampliar la acci\u00f3n a nivel nacional en materia de trabajo decente para mujeres y hombres j\u00f3venes.&nbsp; En la actualidad, dos de cada cinco j\u00f3venes que integran la fuerza laboral o est\u00e1n subempleados o trabajan pero son pobres.
