El evento reunir\u00e1 a cientos de representantes de organizaciones juveniles de todo el mundo, as\u00ed como a miembros de organismos gubernamentales y de las propias Naciones Unidas que trabajan directamente con este colectivo.<\/p>\n<p>El principal fin de este foro es animar a los j\u00f3venes a que jueguen un papel activo en la aplicaci\u00f3n de la <strong>Agenda 2030<\/strong>, la ambiciosa hoja de ruta que estableci\u00f3 la ONU en septiembre del a\u00f1o pasado con 17 objetivos y 169 metas para terminar con la pobreza extrema, luchar contra el cambio clim\u00e1tico y combatir la desigualdad. Durante las dos jornadas de trabajo, las organizaciones juveniles tendr\u00e1n la oportunidad de identificar de qu\u00e9 forma pueden tomar parte en los \u00e1mbitos pol\u00edtico y legislativo de sus respectivos pa\u00edses para implementar los ODS. Adem\u00e1s, se analizar\u00e1n posibles modos de <strong>cooperaci\u00f3n con Naciones Unidas, la sociedad civil y los gobiernos<\/strong> en el seguimiento de la agenda.<\/p>\n<p>Desde el ECOSOC se incide en que, aunque la responsabilidad principal recae en los Estados, los j\u00f3venes tambi\u00e9n son indispensables a la hora de dar a conocer el contenido los 17 objetivos de desarrollo sostenible.
