\u00abEuropa no tiene tiempo que perder, los j\u00f3venes no tienen tiempo que perder. Deben ser ayudados y no dej\u00e1rlos solos<\/em>\u00ab, ha dicho este jueves Iliana Ivanova, miembro de la Corte de Auditores Europeos\u00a0 durante la conferencia del Tribunal de Cuentas Europeo (ECA) sobre el empleo juvenil en el Parlamento Europeo. Ivanova reconoci\u00f3 que los j\u00f3venes de muchos pa\u00edses de la UE experimentan serias dificultades para encontrar un empleo y que la Garant\u00eda Juvenil desempe\u00f1a un papel importante en este aspecto.<\/p>\n

Pero el programa impulsado por la UE en 2013 no es una panacea. \u00abEste complejo tema necesita un enfoque hol\u00edstico<\/em>\u00ab, insisti\u00f3, concluyendo que \u00ablos responsables pol\u00edticos deben asegurarse que la s pol\u00edticas de la Uni\u00f3n Europea no plantee expectativas que no pueden ser cumplidas. Esto es particularmente cr\u00edtico para los j\u00f3venes<\/em>\u201d.<\/p>\n

La conferencia fue inaugurada por el Presidente de la CEPA, Klaus-Heiner Lehne, quien reconoci\u00f3 que la creaci\u00f3n de puestos de trabajo y la educaci\u00f3n para la nueva generaci\u00f3n segu\u00eda siendo uno de los mayores retos de la UE y advirti\u00f3 que dar\u00eda forma a la ciudadan\u00eda en el futuro. \u00abDebemos asegurarnos de que la Uni\u00f3n brinde a los j\u00f3venes europeos una perspectiva sobre la que basar sus vidas – que la Uni\u00f3n es su perspectiva<\/em>\u00ab, a\u00f1adi\u00f3 el Sr. Lehne.<\/p>\n

La Conferencia de este jueves surge a ra\u00edz de varios informes de auditor\u00eda que en los \u00faltimos a\u00f1os la CEPA ha llevado a cabo en diferentes Estados Miembro de la Uni\u00f3n comprobando la eficacia de la implantaci\u00f3n del Sistema de Garant\u00eda Juvenil<\/a>. Durante la conferencia, los auditores discutieron con representantes de alto nivel de las instituciones de la UE, las organizaciones de empleo y los j\u00f3venes si las pol\u00edticas de la UE estaban dando resultados y cu\u00e1l era la mejor manera de avanzar.<\/p>\n

Entre los ponentes se encontraban el vicepresidente del Parlamento Europeo, Pavel Teli\u010dka, los eurodiputados Martina Dlabajova y Derek Vaughan, los comisarios Valdis Dombrovskis y Marianne Thyssen, y Neil Kerr y Janar Holm de las actuales presidencias maltesas y pr\u00f3ximas de Estonia del Consejo.<\/p>\n
