En una resoluci\u00f3n no legislativa adoptada con 554 votos a favor, 61 en contra y 53 abstenciones, los parlamentarios se\u00f1alaron que la <strong>Garant\u00eda Juvenil y la Iniciativa de Empleo Juvenil<\/strong>, dos instrumentos comunitarios para luchar contra el desempleo de este segmento de la poblaci\u00f3n, no han impedido que el paro de los j\u00f3venes sea \u00abinaceptablemente alto\u00bb en ciertas partes de la UE.<\/p>\n<p>Entre 2014 y 2020, ambas herramientas aportan 8.000 millones de presupuesto europeo a esta causa y han contribuido a una reducci\u00f3n al n\u00famero de j\u00f3venes desempleados, pero los eurodiputados alertaron de que uno de cada cinco j\u00f3venes europeos estaba en paro en 2016.<\/p>\n<p>La resoluci\u00f3n aprobada propone cambiar el foco principal de estas estrategias hacia los j\u00f3venes que no trabajan ni estudian y, adem\u00e1s, que se destinen m\u00e1s fondos al problema del paro juvenil.
