Entender los t\u00e9rminos financieros es, en ocasiones, una compleja tarea. Palabras t\u00e9cnicas que resultan indescifrables, o conceptos financieros que se escapan de nuestro conocimiento pueden alejarnos de la idea de emprender un negocio. Por esta raz\u00f3n y con el fin de acercar la cultura financiera a los ciudadanos, Unicaja Banco y Fundaci\u00f3n Unicaja impulsaron hace diez a\u00f1os el proyecto Edufinet<\/strong>. Esta iniciativa re\u00fane las principales caracter\u00edsticas del sistema financiero espa\u00f1ol y de los productos financieros m\u00e1s habituales. Todo ello, acompa\u00f1ado de ejemplos pr\u00e1cticos, est\u00e1 disponible en su web (www.edufinet.com<\/a>). Adem\u00e1s, disponen de una gu\u00eda impresa y desarrollan diferentes actividades orientadas a la formaci\u00f3n de la ciudadan\u00eda.<\/p>\n

Uno de los principales focos de atenci\u00f3n de Edufinet es la juventud. Conscientes de las dificultades laborales que atraviesan y de la alta tasa de desempleo juvenil, trabajan para acercarles a la cultura financiera y permitir que se desarrollen en un futuro de manera aut\u00f3noma y responsable<\/strong>. Por esta raz\u00f3n, y en el marco de la celebraci\u00f3n del d\u00e9cimo aniversario del proyecto, desde octubre hasta marzo de 2018, Edufinet lleva a cabo las IX Jornadas de Educaci\u00f3n Financiera para J\u00f3venes, que se desarrollan en distintos centros educativos de Andaluc\u00eda, Castilla-La Mancha, Castilla y Le\u00f3n y Extremadura. Adem\u00e1s, la organizaci\u00f3n anual de estas jornadas le han valido dos premios de educaci\u00f3n financiera concedidos en diciembre por la revista ‘Actualidad Econ\u00f3mica’<\/strong>. En concreto, la publicaci\u00f3n le ha entregado el segundo premio en la categor\u00eda de J\u00f3venes y el Premio Especial del Jurado por su labor para acercar el mundo de la banca y las finanzas a la ciudadan\u00eda. De esta forma, este medio de comunicaci\u00f3n ha querido reconocer la labor que el proyecto Edufinet realiza con los estudiantes de Educaci\u00f3n Secundaria Obligatoria y de Bachillerato y el trabajo que desempe\u00f1an para mejorar los conocimientos financieros de los ciudadanos.<\/p>\n

Emprendimiento, alternativa al desempleo juvenil<\/h4>\n

As\u00ed, uno de los temas que analizan en estas jornadas es la conexi\u00f3n entre el sistema educativo y el mercado de trabajo. Un asunto que abordaron a principios de noviembre junto con el European Center for Innovation and Entrepreneurship (ECIE)<\/strong> en una mesa redonda. Ambas organizaciones coincidieron en la necesidad de fomentar el emprendimiento como alternativa al desempleo juvenil. Bajo el t\u00edtulo ‘Conexi\u00f3n del sistema educativo con el mundo empresarial: la necesidad de fomentar una cultura emprendedora’, en la mesa redonda participaron agentes econ\u00f3micos, sociales e instituciones. En ella se analizaron las causas del desempleo entre los j\u00f3venes y el papel que juegan los diferentes sistemas educativos<\/strong> ante este problema.<\/p>\n

Los participantes identificaron los posibles estudios y competencias que pueden facilitar una mayor salida profesional, el grado de emprendimiento en las distintas sociedades europeas o las estrategias para fomentar una cultura emprendedora. Una de las cuestiones que debatieron centr\u00f3 el inter\u00e9s en el impacto que la automatizaci\u00f3n de procesos productivos tiene en muchos perfiles profesionale<\/strong>s. El foro tuvo lugar dentro de las IX Jornadas de Educaci\u00f3n Financiera para J\u00f3venes. En \u00e9l participaron Jos\u00e9 M. Dom\u00ednguez, director de Edufinet y director general de secretar\u00eda general y t\u00e9cnica de Unicaja Banco, as\u00ed como responsables de centros educativos de ocho pa\u00edses europeos miembros del ECIE.<\/p>\n

Desde que surgi\u00f3 el Proyecto Edufinet en 2007 -aunque comenz\u00f3 a desarrollarse en 2005-, m\u00e1s de 71.000 j\u00f3venes<\/strong> han participado en jornadas y encuentros con el fin de mejorar su formaci\u00f3n financiera. En el proyecto colaboran m\u00e1s de una decena de instituciones y organizaciones empresariales, as\u00ed como trece universidades, entre ellas una extranjera. El portal www.edufinet.com<\/a> cuenta con m\u00e1s de 6,6 millones de visitas, con accesos procedentes de casi 180 pa\u00edses.<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
