El jueves 14 de junio asistimos al Comit\u00e9 Ejecutivo y a la Asamblea General  que la Red Espa\u00f1ola de Pacto Mundial<\/strong> celebr\u00f3 en Madrid,  en un acto presidido por Lise Kingo, CEO y directora ejecutiva de UN Global Compact.<\/p>\n

Fue un acto que cont\u00f3 con una nutrida representaci\u00f3n de socios, y en el que se puso especial foco en la implicaci\u00f3n de tejido empresarial espa\u00f1ol en los retos que supone la Agenda 2030, la hoja de ruta global que desgrana los objetivos de la comunidad internacional en el periodo 2016-2030 para erradicar la pobreza y favorecer un desarrollo sostenible e igualitario.<\/p>\n

En su intervenci\u00f3n, Lise Kingo reconoci\u00f3 el \u201cincre\u00edble trabajo<\/em>\u201d que la Red Espa\u00f1ola est\u00e1 llevando a cabo, pues \u201csupone un modelo de inspiraci\u00f3n para las dem\u00e1s redes locales y contribuye de manera determinante a conseguir el objetivo que marc\u00f3 Kofi Annan -secretario general de las Naciones Unidas entre 1997 y 2006- para Pacto Mundial: poner un rostro m\u00e1s humano a la globalizaci\u00f3n<\/em>\u201d. Asimismo, destac\u00f3 el papel que la Red est\u00e1 desarrollando, junto con el Ministerio de Asuntos Exteriores y Cooperaci\u00f3n (MAEC), en la preparaci\u00f3n de la evaluaci\u00f3n voluntaria a la que nuestro pa\u00eds se someter\u00e1 ante el Foro Pol\u00edtico de Alto Nivel del ECOSOC, que se celebrar\u00e1 en julio en Nueva York.<\/p>\n

En este camino hacia el desarrollo sostenible, los 17 ODS suponen la columna vertebral para esta transici\u00f3n. \u201cEst\u00e1n desglosados en 169 metas concretas, lo que nos permite tener constancia en todo momento de nuestro nivel de progreso\u201d.<\/em> Adem\u00e1s, ha recordado cu\u00e1les son los \u00e1mbitos en los que necesitamos incidir con especial \u00e9nfasis: el cambio clim\u00e1tico (ODS 13) y las desigualdades (ODS 10)<\/strong>. <\/p>\n

Este \u00faltimo ODS est\u00e1 \u00edntimamente relacionado y vinculado con la misi\u00f3n de NSF y con el trabajo que nuestra Fundaci\u00f3n lleva haciendo desde hace 38 a\u00f1os, y el que puede y quiere seguir contribuyendo desde sus acciones (locales, nacionales, regionales y globales): ayudar a mejorar la empleabilidad de los j\u00f3venes. Sin empleo, decente y para tod@s, no es posible acabar con la desigualdad.<\/p>\n

Meta 10.1.- De aqu\u00ed a 2030, lograr progresivamente y mantener el crecimiento de los ingresos del 40% m\u00e1s pobre de la poblaci\u00f3n a una tasa superior a la media nacional<\/em><\/p>\n

Tanto durante el desarrollo de la reuni\u00f3n del Comit\u00e9 Directivo, como posteriormente a la celebraci\u00f3n de la Asamblea General, pudimos intercambiar unas palabras con Lise Kingo. Le trasladamos nuestro firme compromiso, como entidad privada de la sociedad civil, de contribuir desde la perspectiva del empleo juvenil y de todos sus actores implicados (empresas y organizaciones, j\u00f3venes, administraci\u00f3n p\u00fablica, universidades, sociedad,\u2026) al \u201cgran plan\u201d que tenemos la humanidad para los pr\u00f3ximos 13 a\u00f1os, que es  la Agenda 2030 y su objetivo de conseguir un mundo m\u00e1s sostenible sin dejar a nadie atr\u00e1s.<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
