La estancia del Rey Felipe VI, en aquellas fechas todav\u00eda Pr\u00edncipe de Asturias, en la VI Edici\u00f3n de los Premios Novia Salcedo a la Excelencia en la Integraci\u00f3n Profesional de los J\u00f3venes<\/strong><\/a> nos dej\u00f3 frases muy destacadas que hacen referencia al Proyecto Pegasus y al empleo juvenil:<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\u00bfY cu\u00e1l es hoy la principal preocupaci\u00f3n de los j\u00f3venes y de toda nuestra sociedad? Claramente el desempleo, la falta de trabajo; un tema directamente relacionado con el foco de estos premios y de la fundaci\u00f3n que nos ha reunido hoy en la capital vizca\u00edna.Por eso este premio, ya en su 6\u00aa edici\u00f3n, expresa bien el compromiso s\u00f3lido de la Fundaci\u00f3n Novia Salcedo, con la b\u00fasqueda efectiva de soluciones y de v\u00edas concretas para lograr el acceso de los j\u00f3venes al mercado laboral.<\/p>\n

Al tratarse de un problema lamentablemente tan grave y extendido, son numerosas las instancias, Administraciones y organizaciones en todo el mundo que se esfuerzan d\u00eda a d\u00eda para intentar solucionarlo. Pero, en esta oportunidad, quiero, naturalmente, subrayar vuestra labor espec\u00edfica \u2014la de Noviasalcedo\u2014, porque el desempleo y la integraci\u00f3n laboral de los j\u00f3venes son materias que conoc\u00e9is muy bien y en las que llev\u00e1is muchos a\u00f1os trabajando con excelentes resultados. Aunque, como vosotros sab\u00e9is muy bien, lo que siempre ocupa y preocupa m\u00e1s es lo que todav\u00eda queda por hacer, m\u00e1s que contar y alabar los \u00e9xitos.<\/p>\n

Hay que tener en cuenta mucho m\u00e1s a los j\u00f3venes, obviamente por lo que representan para el futuro, pero tambi\u00e9n por sus capacidades, frescura, y flexibilidad, para ayudarles y animarles a ser mejores que nosotros. Al fin y al cabo una sociedad que no da esperanza a los j\u00f3venes, que esperanza puede tener en si misma. Pero, no por ello podemos dejar de lado a los que no lo son \u2013o no lo son tanto\u2212, como por ejemplo a los desempleados de larga duraci\u00f3n, que son los que m\u00e1s dificultades arrastran, con m\u00e1s cargas a cuestas y menor capacidad de adaptaci\u00f3n o flexibilidad. Por eso, es preciso que al mismo tiempo, tengamos siempre presente la dimensi\u00f3n social y humana de un problema que afecta a hombres y mujeres de todas las edades, sin desconocer nunca el funcionamiento de un sistema econ\u00f3mico y productivo que debe estar, finalmente, al servicio de las personas<\/p>\n

Hab\u00e9is abordado estos retos con una visi\u00f3n cooperativa y participativa y desde una perspectiva s\u00f3lida, tanto te\u00f3rica como pr\u00e1ctica. Para ello hab\u00e9is hecho estudios importantes, hab\u00e9is puesto en marcha diversos proyectos y actividades, e incentivado tambi\u00e9n que otras entidades contribuyan a afrontarlo, como lo demuestran estos mismos galardones.<\/p>\n

En esta labor, vuestro enfoque ha sido sobre un aspecto clave \u2014la integraci\u00f3n profesional de los j\u00f3venes desde la perspectiva formativa\u2014, incorporando, asimismo, una visi\u00f3n internacional muy necesaria; porque se trata, efectivamente, de un problema global.<\/p>\n

En este sentido, quiero felicitaros particularmente por vuestro Proyecto Pegasus; una iniciativa que tiene como objetivo situar el empleo juvenil en la Agenda Global del Desarrollo Humano, y que merece todo el apoyo.<\/strong><\/h2>\n

El empleo y la formaci\u00f3n son cuestiones que todos reconocemos como fundamentales para el bienestar y el progreso de cualquier sociedad. No cabe duda de que, apoy\u00e1ndonos en una mejor formaci\u00f3n, hay que \u2013sobre todo\u2212 mejorar la empleabilidad de los trabajadores, para facilitar as\u00ed su acceso y tambi\u00e9n su permanencia en el mercado de trabajo. Tampoco la hay de que debemos impulsar m\u00e1s la educaci\u00f3n y dentro de ella valores y capacidades como el emprendimiento, la creatividad y la innovaci\u00f3n, la confianza y la autoestima, la motivaci\u00f3n y el altruismo.<\/p>\n

Y estamos convencidos, as\u00ed mismo, de que hay que tener en cuenta mucho m\u00e1s a los j\u00f3venes, obviamente por lo que representan para el futuro, pero tambi\u00e9n por sus capacidades, frescura, y flexibilidad, para ayudarles y animarles a ser mejores que nosotros. Al fin y al cabo una sociedad que no da esperanza a los j\u00f3venes, que esperanza puede tener en s\u00ed misma.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/blockquote>\n
