El objetivo de la nueva norma es proteger a los trabajadores, empleados, o que realicen actividades de capacitaci\u00f3n, pasant\u00edas, formaci\u00f3n profesional y voluntariado.<\/p>\n<p>Este documento reconoce que la violencia y el acoso en el mundo del trabajo puede constituir una vulneraci\u00f3n de los Derechos Humanos y poner en riesgo la igualdad de oportunidades. En ese sentido, la <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ilo.org\/global\/lang--es\/index.htm\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">OIT<\/a> define como \u2018violencia y acoso\u2019 a todo comportamiento, acci\u00f3n, amenaza que tengan por objeto causar da\u00f1o f\u00edsico o psicol\u00f3gico, sexual o econ\u00f3mico.<\/p>\n<p>La norma abarca los lugares en los que se remunere a un trabajador, realice los recesos en el trabajo para descansar o comer, use instalaciones sanitarias, establecimientos de alojamientos proporcionadas por el empleador y los desplazamientos desde y hasta el lugar de trabajo.<\/p>\n<p>La medida titulada<strong> \u2018Convenio sobre violencia y acoso 2019\u2019<\/strong> viene acompa\u00f1ada de la<strong> \u2018Recomendaci\u00f3n sobre violencia y acoso 2019\u2019,<\/strong> que proporciona directrices sobre el modo de aplicar la normativa. Se emitieron 439 votos a favor de la aprobaci\u00f3n del Convenio y entrar\u00e1 en vigor 12 meses despu\u00e9s de que dos Estados miembros lo hayan ratificado.<\/p>\n<p>Por otro lado, el organismo recuerda a los Estados Miembros la responsabilidad de promover un \u2018entorno general de tolerancia cero\u2019.
