As\u00ed lo se\u00f1ala el informe presentado por la <strong>Red Global de la OIT<\/strong> sobre empresas y discapacidad, la <a href=\"https:\/\/www.fundaciononce.es\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Fundaci\u00f3n ONCE<\/a> y <a href=\"https:\/\/home.kpmg\/es\/es\/home.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">KPMG Espa\u00f1a<\/a> titulado \u2018<a href=\"https:\/\/www.ilo.org\/global\/topics\/disability-and-work\/WCMS_729457\/lang--es\/index.htm\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><strong>Making the future of work inclusive of people with disabilities<\/strong><\/a>\u2019. La publicaci\u00f3n realizada en el marco de la Iniciativa europea Disability Hub Europe hace referencia a la necesidad de garantizar igualdad de oportunidades y trato para las personas con discapacidad.<\/p>\n<p>Se estima que hay mil millones de personas con discapacidad en el mundo. Estas personas ya enfrentan dificultades que obstaculizan su participaci\u00f3n en el mundo del trabajo y las expone a un riesgo mayor de pobreza y exclusi\u00f3n social. En ocho regiones geogr\u00e1ficas, <strong>36% de las personas con discapacidad en edad de trabajar est\u00e1n empleadas, frente a 60% de la poblaci\u00f3n en general<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>Por eso plantea una nueva gu\u00eda para ayudar a crear un futuro m\u00e1s equitativo para todos. La premisa parte de cinco objetivos fundamentales que deben ser alcanzados para que puedan beneficiarse de las nuevas tendencias laborales relacionadas con las tecnolog\u00edas, las competencias, el cambio cultural, demogr\u00e1fico y clim\u00e1tico.<\/p>\n<p>1. Las nuevas formas y relaciones de empleo deben incorporar la inclusi\u00f3n de la discapacidad.<br \/>\n2. El desarrollo de las competencias y el aprendizaje continuo debe ser inclusivo.<br \/>\n3. Las nuevas infraestructuras, productos y servicios deben seguir los principios de dise\u00f1o universal (lo cual significa que pueden ser accesibles, comprendidos y utilizados por todos).<br \/>\n4. Las tecnolog\u00edas de asistencia deben estar disponibles y ser asequibles.<br \/>\n5. Son necesarias m\u00e1s medidas para incluir a las personas con discapacidad en las \u00e1reas en desarrollo y crecimiento de la econom\u00eda. Adem\u00e1s, los sistemas de protecci\u00f3n social son un complemento importante a fin de alcanzar un futuro del trabajo inclusivo para las personas con discapacidad.<\/p>\n<p>A pesar de que las empresas ya incluyen la discapacidad en sus iniciativas de diversidad e inclusi\u00f3n, no es suficiente para el futuro. \u00abSabemos que en la actualidad las personas con discapacidad tienen mayores probabilidades de ocupar empleos vulnerables y devengar salarios m\u00e1s bajos.
