Hoy en d\u00eda, hablar de emprendimiento es asociar casi directamente esa idea a la de internet. Si bien es una de las realidades m\u00e1s utilizadas por quienes apuestan por crear su propia empresa, tambi\u00e9n hay un mundo m\u00e1s all\u00e1. Hablamos con emprendedores que aunque s\u00ed utilizan la tecnolog\u00eda y las redes sociales para adecuarse a este siglo XXI, han creado empresas con un car\u00e1cter un tanto diferente.<\/p>\n

\u201cLos consumidores demandamos valores a las empresas\u201d<\/strong><\/h4>\n

Seg\u00fan el informe \u2018The Rise of Social Enterprise\u2019 de Deloitte, el 84% de los millenials considera que las empresas deben valorarse por su rendimiento social y medioambiental, no s\u00f3lo financiero. Gran parte de esta generaci\u00f3n persigue dejar un impacto positivo en la sociedad y eso se traduce en su manera de relacionarse con las marcas que, a su juicio, deben mantener el equilibrio entre los beneficios y la protecci\u00f3n del planeta y la resoluci\u00f3n de los problemas sociales.<\/p>\n

Un ejemplo de ello es Auara<\/a>, una empresa que naci\u00f3 en 2014 con el fin de desarrollar proyectos que contribuyan a llevar el agua potable a las personas m\u00e1s necesitadas del mundo a trav\u00e9s de la venta de agua embotellada y refrescos ecol\u00f3gicos. La idea surgi\u00f3 despu\u00e9s de los viajes de Antonio Espinosa<\/strong> y de Pablo Urbano a pa\u00edses como Camboya, Per\u00fa y, especialmente, Etiop\u00eda. \u201cDe uno de sus viajes a Etiop\u00eda Antonio volvi\u00f3 muy impactado con el tema de la escasez de agua potable. Luego yo tambi\u00e9n viaj\u00e9 all\u00ed y a trav\u00e9s de una ONG aprendimos mucho sobre c\u00f3mo hacer y gestionar este tipo de problemas y conocimos de primera mano lo que significa la cooperaci\u00f3n\u201d, explica Pablo Urbano<\/strong>, cofundador y CEO de Auara. A ello hay que a\u00f1adirle que el propio Pablo estudi\u00f3 una asignatura sobre creaci\u00f3n de empresas. \u201cTuve la oportunidad de conocer qu\u00e9 es y qu\u00e9 significa una empresa social: son empresas que venden un producto y ofrecen un servicio pero que tienen un fin social muy claro que debe estar presente en sus estatutos y est\u00e1 muy ligado a la actividad que hacen diariamente\u201d, cuenta Pablo.<\/p>\n

\u201cMotivados con estas dos realidades decidimos c\u00f3mo pod\u00edamos facilitar estos proyectos enfocados a llevar agua potable a quienes lo necesitaban. Ve\u00edamos que se pod\u00edan financiar de forma continua estos peque\u00f1os proyectos desde Espa\u00f1a ofreciendo un recurso continuo de fondos a peque\u00f1as comunidades locales\u201d a trav\u00e9s de la venta de agua embotellada. \u201cDestinamos el 100% de los dividendos que genera la venta de los productos en Espa\u00f1a a fines sociales<\/strong>\u201d. Una empresa social y sostenible porque \u201cel valor medioambiental est\u00e1 muy dentro de su ADN, por ello apostamos por ser la primera empresa en Europa que tiene un pet 100% reciclado en las botellas\u201d, destacan. \u201cBuscamos tambi\u00e9n un consumo responsable. Que si existe un mercado gigante de agua embotellada en pl\u00e1sticos de un solo uso, aprovech\u00e9moslo de forma diferente para cambiar las cosas desde dentro, aportando valores sociales y medioambientales a esos productos\u201d.<\/p>\n

\u00bfQu\u00e9 ha sido lo m\u00e1s dif\u00edcil de este camino de emprendimiento?<\/strong>
\nEl d\u00eda a d\u00eda. Es un mercado complicado y muy potente con muchos y muy grandes competidores. No se trata solo hacer un producto, es tambi\u00e9n venderlo, distribuirlo, cobrarlo, facturarlo\u2026 y siendo un mercado con tanto volumen\u2026 esa pelea del d\u00eda a d\u00eda es complicada. Y cuesta tambi\u00e9n que el discurso de Auara penetre en el consumidor, porque pese a que casi todo el mundo comparte esos valores, cuesta estar en el momento preciso del consumo.<\/p>\n

\u00bfCre\u00e9is necesario fomentar m\u00e1s la cultura emprendedora desde j\u00f3venes?<\/strong>
\nDesde luego. A mi me cambi\u00f3 el camino a seguir. Estudi\u00e9 Ingenier\u00eda y en los primeros a\u00f1os pensaba en trabajar en una super empresa ingeniera o una consultora, viajando por el mundo, viviendo fuera\u2026 y conocer una forma diferente de trabajo es importante no solo por si luego vas a emprender o no sino porque estudiar este tipo de opciones te ayudan a tener una idea de que hay que seguir un camino y unos procesos hasta llegar a culminar la creaci\u00f3n de una empresa. Es una experiencia<\/strong> que yo recomiendo, aunque no es para todo el mundo, porque conlleva sus \u2018riesgos\u2019. Pero creo que es importante porque todos debemos ser emprendedores tanto en nuestra vida como dentro de las empresas, donde intentar fomentar nuevas ideas y formas de hacer las cosas que tengan un impacto social y medioambiental porque los consumidores estamos cambiando, tenemos much\u00edsima informaci\u00f3n y demandamos valores a las empresas.<\/p>\n

\u00bfQu\u00e9 hab\u00e9is aprendido de esta experiencia?<\/strong>
\nDe todo. Que el trabajo cuesta mucho, que las cosas no salen por casualidad y son fruto del esfuerzo<\/strong> y si quieres algo tienes que pelear por ello. Tambi\u00e9n hemos aprendido c\u00f3mo gestionar clientes, c\u00f3mo tratar a las personas que trabajan contigo, empatizar con quien tienes al lado\u2026 Y cada d\u00eda aprendemos de los proyectos que hacemos y de la maravillosa gente que hay en pa\u00edses y comunidades aisladas del mundo que dedican su vida a otras personas.<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
