En fases previas del proyecto, organizamos las entidades y actividades en diferentes Comités regionales.
Próximamente actualizaremos la información con las acciones realizadas en cada región.

¿Qué es un Comité Regional?

Un Comité Regional es un grupo de entidades de la sociedad civil adheridas a la campaña que voluntariamente se organizan para impulsar y difundir sus objetivos adaptándola a las respectivas regiones donde se constituyen estos Comités.

Se creará un Comité Regional de acuerdo con los Grupos Regionales que establece el Sistema Naciones Unidas. Cada Comité Regional podrá tener autonomía para actuar y crear a su vez subcomités dentro de la región.

¿Cómo se organiza un Comité Regional?

Cada Comité puede organizarse a iniciativa de una o de varias organizaciones que, buscando la máxima integración posible de los diversos actores interesados, asuman los objetivos prioritarios que dan sentido a la campaña.

Se firmará un acuerdo entre la organización/es coordinadora/s de cada Comité Regional y la Fundación Novia Salcedo donde se establecerán los derechos y obligaciones de cada parte.

¿Qué objetivos tiene el Comité Regional?

Deberá tener en cuenta los objetivos establecidos por la Campaña Internacional y adecuarlos a su contexto regional: promover políticas a favor del empleo juvenil, proporcionar orientaciones para su puesta en práctica, potenciar el papel de las organizaciones juveniles y organizaciones de la sociedad civil (empresas, sindicatos, patronales, universidades…) y sensibilizar al conjunto de la sociedad sobre la relevancia de apoyar y favorecer la situación de los jóvenes respecto al mundo laboral.

¿Qué papel juega Novia Salcedo Fundación (NSF) en estos Comités Regionales?

NSF se encargará de dinamizar y coordinar, a nivel mundial, la red de organizaciones implicadas en la Campaña Internacional. Además, mantendrá una relación constante con éstos para coordinar los respectivos programas en relación a la Campaña Internacional. Deberá ofrecer su apoyo a los Comités Regionales, planificar y ejecutar actividades relacionadas con el Proyecto Pegasus y apoyar sus labores de comunicación y difusión.

¿Cómo se financia un Comité Regional?

Cada Comité Regional se auto financiará y será responsable de la ejecución de sus actividades.

-Israel In May 2000 Israel became a WEOG full member, on a temporary basis (subject to renewal), in WEOG’s headquarters in the US, thereby enabling it to put forward candidates for election to various UN General Assembly bodies. In 2004 Israel obtained a permanent renewal to its membership.
-Kiribati As of 2010, Kiribati (geographically in Oceania) is not a member of any regional group, despite other Oceania nations belonging to the Asian group. Despite its membership in the United Nations, Kiribati has never delegated a permanent representative to the UN. Turkey Turkey, participates fully in both WEOG and Asian Group, but for electoral purposes is considered a member of WEOG only.
-United States of America The United States of America is not a member of any regional group, but attends meetings of the Western Europe and Other States Group (WEOG) as an observer and is considered to be a member of that group for electoral purposes.
