PURPOSE
The goal of this fourth edition is to progress further in generating shared knowledge on future employability through the presentation of the model the NSF is working on and the best practices suggested by other top-level partners and allies. Our allies’ knowledge and partnerships are key for the future. We seek to attract the main representatives of international agencies and the best practices we can identify in relation to this great challenge for the future. As pointed out by the UN, youth employment and women are two key economic accelerators that will play a major role in deploying the 2030 Agenda goals. We shall also give priority to the participation of young people, and listening to their opinions will be a key element. In addition to the Forum, there will be a “side-event” in which young people will be working on the main aspects that concern them regarding future employment issues. They will submit their proposals and these will be added to the closing session of the BYEF.
METHODOLOGY
The Forum will be a 1 day event. The methodology used during the Forum will be, on the one hand, empirical; presenting the results of the research the NSF is carrying out on an employability model. On the other hand, it will also consist of evidence-based research, to help us identify what has been successful in various socio-economic contexts and why. It will be a participatory event that integrates various aspects, from policies and programmes, to best practices and young people’s views.

El cambio comienza por nosotros mismos:
Desarrollar equipos, construir organizaciones comprometidas con la Agenda 2030
- Por un lado, la presentación de la Iniciativa Global para Empleos Decentes de la OIT, integrada en el marco de NNUU para el despliegue de los ODS. La organización del Foro busca crear un espacio de encuentro para los representantes clave de organismos internacionales, para que desde esta perspectiva, conozcamos los retos clave en materia de empleo decente y educación para todos en el marco de los ODS. Contaremos con representantes del Gobierno de España, y otros actores de la esfera socio-económica de nuestro entorno para apoyar el impulso de esta Agenda.
- Por otro lado, y, partiendo de este marco de referencia, reforzar la idea de que “el cambio empieza por nosotros mismos”. Uno de los pilares clave de desarrollo son las organizaciones, por lo que trabajaremos hacia una metodología común que nos ayude a desarrollar equipos, y construir organizaciones comprometidas con la Agenda 2030.
Responderemos a la cuestión de qué estamos haciendo desde los Comités Regionales de la Campaña (Africa y LATAM y Caribe) y desde nuestras organizaciones y cómo podemos mejorar nuestro desempeño, para contribuir a los retos de la Agenda de los ODS, y en particular, el objetivo-8 .
