There are many barriers to youth employment in the world: the individualisation of culture, the labour relations model based on vertical rigid systems, the low participation of workers, the lack of transparency, a development model based on production, the energy crisis, global warming and the loss of biodiversity. All these aspects have short, medium and long-term social, economic and environmental costs.

These are the issues we included in the position paper we have presented and that we have entitled ‘Barriers to Youth Employment‘. Over 200 experts will meet in at the Bizkaia Aretoa of the UPV/EHU in Bilbao on 24 and 25 November to work together on this topic.

You are all invited; we look forward to seeing you: http://www.youthemploymentdecade.org/es/byef-214/espanol-inscripcion/
