Future Jobs Finder is a tool that will help young people from 18 countries define their digital profiles, as well as access job offers and on-line training content based on their profiles.

Finding a job is one of the biggest concerns young people have as they see how the labour market is becoming increasingly complicated. With this in view, Vodafone has launched Future Jobs Finder. The project is an application that will allow young people from 18 countries define their digital profiles, as well as access job offers and on-line training content based on their profiles.

After 12 months of development and after having consulted specialized psychologists, professional advisers and content providers, the tool provides young people with several options. In the first place, a series of quick psychometric tests are designed to identify skills and interests. This makes it possible to assign them to the correct job category.

Secondly, the tool will present job opportunities that exist in the location the users have chosen. Finally, users will have access to on-line content to train in the relevant digital skills.

The European Union believes that 500,000 digital jobs will become vacant in 2020 due to a lack of training. The truth is that companies are looking for new profiles that specialise in certain technologies, such as the Cloud, Big Data, IoT or Artificial Intelligence; therefore, knowledge in these fields will be paramount.
